• 30 mL iodine tincture in a glass dropper bottle
• Iodine test for home and hobby brewers to detect starch in beer wort
• 12 drops are sufficient
• A color change indicates that starch is still present; no color change indicates that no starch is present

For determining the starch content of cooled wort. Add a few drops to a small separate sample of wort. If the wort turns blue, violet, or red, not all the starch has been converted. If no color change occurs, all the starch has been converted. Contents: 30 mL.
