The cooling Active Gel from Allguer Latschenkiefer is a pleasantly refreshing gel developed for skincare and for use during massages of strained muscles, muscle soreness, and to support recovery after physical exertion. The combination of menthol, Frescolat, and selected ingredients such as comfrey, arnica, camphor, and magnesium provides a refreshing, cooling effect, supports the recovery of strained muscles through massage, and cares for the skin. The cooling effect develops pleasantly after application and may help loosen strained muscle areas and promote recovery after exercise. Cold-stimulus treatments have long been known in sports and muscle recovery: applying cold is an established method for acute complaints such as swelling, strains, and bruises. It has also long been used to relieve muscle soreness and strained muscles, whether in the form of ice baths, cold showers, or stays in a cold chamber.
