ARDAP SPOT-ON contains pyrethrum, an active ingredient derived from chrysanthemums, and is a highly effective product for external use on dogs. Its repellent action provides reliable, long-lasting protection against ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus) and fleas (Ctenocephalides felis, Ctenocephalides canis). A single ARDAP SPOT-ON tube protects against reinfestation by ticks and fleas for up to 4 weeks. Treatment may be repeated if the treated dog has been exposed several times to heavy rain or water. Ingredients: ARDAP Spot-On for dogs over 55 lb (25 kg), with pyrethrum, for tick and flea protection; 3 tubes of 4 mL each; up to 12 weeks of long-lasting protection (PT19). Directions: For application to the skin. Part the coat and apply the required amount directly to the skin at the back of the neck. Do not use on puppies under 3 months of age, or on sick or convalescent animals. Dogs with skin lesions, particularly at the intended application sites, should not be treated. Temporary itching may occur at the application site. Hair loss or blistering at the application site has occasionally been observed. Keep treated dogs away from bodies of water for 2 days and do not allow them to bathe in them. Ensure that the contents of the tube do not enter the animals mouth or eyes. In households with multiple animals, keep the animals separated until the product has dried to prevent them from licking one another. The solvent in ARDAP SPOT-ON may damage certain materials, including leather, fabrics, plastics, and polished surfaces. Allow the application site to dry before contact with such materials. In rare cases, hypersensitivity to the solvent may cause short-term allergic reactions. Warnings: May cause an allergic skin reaction. Flammable liquid and vapor. Causes serious eye irritation. Very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. If medical advice is needed, have the packaging or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources. No smoking. Avoid release to the environment. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If skin irritation or rash occurs, seek medical advice or attention. Collect spilled product. Store in a well-ventilated place.
