ATCOM ZINC COMP. is designed to specifically compensate for a zinc deficiency. The trace element zinc plays an important role in almost all processes in the body. It is a component of the skeleton and enzymes and is important for collagen synthesis and antibody formation. Zinc is also essential for the immune system, so ensuring an adequate zinc supply during periods of increased stress, such as a change of stable, can be beneficial. Zinc supplementation has also proven useful for hoof problems, such as poor horn quality or slow-growing horn, as well as for skin problems. Zinc plays an important role in both the skins ability to regenerate and its barrier function. Without zinc, cell growth and cell division are not possible, so a zinc deficiency can lead to impaired wound healing. Since the zinc requirement can scarcely be met through basic feed alone, zinc must be supplied through a mineral feed and, in situations with increased requirements, through a specialized supplement if necessary. ATCOM ZINC COMP. provides your horse with highly available zinc, predominantly in organically bound form. Since zinc and copper are closely related, ATCOM ZINC COMP. also contains copper in an optimal ratio. This supports optimal availability of the supplied zinc. Special properties of ATCOM ZINC COMP.: Specifically designed to compensate for a zinc deficiency; supports coat change and the immune system; for hooves, skin, and coat; contains organically bound zinc combined with copper for optimal availability; enriched with microalgae and rose hips. Ideally suited for targeted support in cases of zinc deficiency and for supporting hooves, coat, and the immune system. Ingredients: yeast, dextrose, alfalfa green meal, brewers grains, brewers yeast, sugar beet molasses, vegetable fat (coconut), microalgae, rapeseed oil, rose hips. Analytical constituents: crude protein 15.1%; crude fat 7.3%; crude fiber 7.7%; crude ash 6.6%; calcium 0.4%; phosphorus 0.3%; sodium 0.1%; potassium 0.7%; magnesium 0.1%. Additives per kg: zinc as zinc sulfate (3b605), 4,000 mg; zinc as glycine-zinc chelate, hydrate (3b607), 8,000 mg; copper as copper(III) sulfate, pentahydrate (E4), 1,000 mg; copper as glycine-copper chelate (E4), 1,000 mg.
