The ready-to-use, alcohol-based Meliseptol disinfectant from B.Braun is intended for medical equipment and other alcohol-resistant surfaces and is suitable for spraying or wiping. Properties of the surface disinfectant: contains 44 g ethanol; no other active ingredients; free from quaternary ammonium compounds, amines, and aldehydes; suitable for use in the B.Braun Wipes wipe dispenser system; effective against bacteria (including MRSA, tuberculosis bacteria, and mycobacteria) and fungi; limited virucidal activity (including HBV, HCV, and HIV); effective against rota-, adeno-, and noroviruses; contact time: 1 minute; listed by DGHM/VAH and included in the IHO Virucidal List.
