Canhydrox for large and heavy breeds provides connective tissue, joints, cartilage, bones, ligaments, tendons, teeth, and cartilage with nutritional support. It is intended for young, performance, and aging dogs, including dogs with musculoskeletal problems, after joint or bone surgery, and for medium-sized, large, and giant breeds whose joints and bones are subject to increased load due to their body weight. It may also support bone development in puppies and young dogs with deformed limbs (bowed or knock knees), weak pasterns, loose joints, or connective-tissue weakness; support tendon, ligament, and muscle firmness; promote bone elasticity in performance dogs; and support dogs with age-related joint or mobility problems or after bone surgery. Green-lipped mussel meat meal supplies glycosaminoglycans to connective tissue and joint cartilage; its omega fatty acids also support the musculoskeletal system. Dicalcium phosphate supports callus formation, the elastic strength of bones, strong tooth enamel, straight limb development, weak pasterns, loose joints, and the skeletal system, and may help prevent loss of bone substance in older dogs. Vitamin C supports connective tissue and healthy gums. Silica supports connective-tissue structures such as tendons, ligaments, and claw horn. Feeding recommendation per animal per day: Young dogs from 8 weeks: for prevention, 2 tablets per 10 kg body weight until 15 months; for deformed limbs, 4 tablets per 10 kg body weight for at least 4 months, then 2 tablets per 10 kg body weight. Aging dogs: 4 tablets per 10 kg body weight. Performance dogs: 2 tablets per 10 kg body weight, starting 2 weeks before and continuing during the performance phase.
