Our engraved pet memorial stones are a dignified tribute to a beloved companion. The personalized slate cross can be used as a grave marker for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, and other pets, outdoors at a pet cemetery or in a garden memorial, or indoors as a keepsake and aid in coping with grief. It can also be a heartfelt sympathy gift for pet owners. Each slate plaque is unique and has its own grain. Minor irregularities, warping, light cracks, and metal inclusions cannot be avoided. This is not a utility item and should be handled carefully and protected. When placed outdoors, position it at an angle so water cannot collect. Please note: Laser engraving on slate is not easy to read when wet. Before shipping, we additionally impregnate the memorial plaque with our Memorial Plaque Protector. This treatment may wear off over time. We recommend purchasing the optional 60 ml impregnation spray. Apply it every 6 months and spread it with a lint-free cloth. After an absorption time of approximately 2030 minutes, the plaque is water-repellent and the engraving remains visible in the rain. Spray base price: 1 liter = 116.50.
