CooperVision Proclear Toric (6 lenses) is a new toric contact lens designed for people with astigmatism who do not want to give up wearing a thin, soft contact lens. It has a 62% water content and is made of Omafilcon B, with oxygen transmissibility of Dk 27. Available base curves are 8.4 mm and 8.8 mm. The 8.4 mm base curve is made to order, so delivery may take up to 4 weeks in exceptional cases. Available cylinder powers are -0.75, -1.25, -1.75, and -2.25. The lens axis is 180 to 10 in 10 increments, and the lens diameter is 14.4 mm. The lenses should be replaced monthly. Despite astigmatism, these lenses can be worn comfortably and are described as a top lens for dry eyes.
