Product descriptions - Active ingredient: biotin - For the prevention and treatment of biotin deficiency - Tablets for oral use - Pharmacy-only medicine - Manufacturer: Dermapharm AG Arzneimittel, Germany Ingredients: Povidone K30, cellulose, crospovidone, biotin, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate. Directions for use: The recommended dose is: For daily use: 1 Deacura 5 mg tablet (equivalent to 2.55 mg biotin). For the prevention of deficiency states, less than 0.2 mg of biotin per day is sufficient. For the treatment of multiple carboxylase deficiency: 12 Deacura 5 mg tablets daily (equivalent to 510 mg biotin). Warnings: Contains lactose. If you undergo a laboratory test, you must inform your doctor or the laboratory staff that you are taking or have recently taken Deacura 5 mg, as biotin may affect the results of such tests. Depending on the test, the results may be falsely elevated or falsely reduced due to biotin.
