No artificial colors or added flavorings are used. High levels of vitamins C and E support good shelf life. Different proteins promote good growth. Canthaxanthin intensifies red, yellow, green, and blue pigmentation. The feed has been used successfully for several years. Fish develop attractive colors, good growth, and good health. Its valuable ingredients are readily utilized and therefore place less strain on the water than poorly digestible budget feeds. Properties: Feed type: natural staple food for all aquarium fish. Intended for: small to medium-sized aquarium fish. Form: dried flakes. Manufacturer: Interquell. Best-before period: 12 months after manufacture; up to 36 months in sealed packaging. Composition: wheat flour, fish meal, wheat gluten, spirulina (5.5%), dried yeast, gelatin, shrimp, squid meal (1.15%), dried seaweed, fish oil. Bulk density: approximately 80120 g/L. Analytical constituents and additives: crude protein: 43.0%; crude fat: 5.0%; crude fiber: 3.0%; crude ash: 10.5%; vitamin A: 30,000 IU/kg; vitamin D3: 2,000 IU/kg; vitamin E: 300 mg/kg; stabilized vitamin C: 150 mg/kg; canthaxanthin: 100 mg/kg. Sprinkle small portions onto the water several times a day. Do not overfeed. Because no added attractants, fragrances, or flavorings are used, the flakes may initially be accepted somewhat hesitantly, especially if the fish are accustomed to other food. After 23 days of patience, this reluctance should decrease. The transition can be made easier by initially mixing the flakes with another popular food, such as frozen RML.
