Calcium Liquid supplies calcium and trace elements in a biologically optimally usable form, thereby supporting healthy coral growth. In addition to stony corals, soft and leather corals, clams, tube worms, and algae also require an adequate calcium concentration for growth. The additional trace elements iron and manganese support the formation of the important symbiotic algae (zooxanthellae), which play a major role in the calcification (skeleton formation) of corals. Calcification takes place according to the following equation: Ca + HCO Ca(HCO) CaCO + HCO. Dosage: 10 ml increases the calcium content by 10 mg per 100 l.
