The Equiband System features a completely unique design that promotes continuous core activation while riding, lunging, or performing in-hand exercises. It is the only product of its kind to have been extensively tested and validated by veterinarians, professional equine sports therapists, and veterinarians. The Equiband System is specifically designed to stimulate receptors in the horses skin and hair follicles. In response to this stimulation, the abdominal, oblique, sublumbar, deep neck, and back muscles are activated. These muscles stabilize the spine and engage the hindquarters during movement. Regular use of the Equiband System strengthens these core muscles and helps the horse work in an optimal posture, reducing the risk of pain and injury caused by hollowing or instability of the joints in the neck and back. The belly band activates the muscles that support the horses back and is particularly suitable for horses recovering from colic surgery, horses with poor or inverted posture, and clinical cases such as diagnosed back problems, including kissing spine. The hindquarter band is particularly suitable for horses with asymmetrical hind-limb movement, poor engagement, and poor development of key muscle groups such as the biceps femoris, as well as horses recovering from diagnosed musculoskeletal or neurological conditions such as EPM. It is recommended for use only with veterinary and/or licensed therapist guidance.
