The snaffle bit is a classic bit with freely sliding rings. It is generally well accepted by all horses and is suitable for training as well as riding or driving. Snaffle bits act exclusively through rein pressure and can compensate well for an inexperienced hand. The horse can briefly evade excessive pressure by lifting its tongue. The mouthpiece of the Esposita snaffle bit is made of high-quality stainless steel, making it suitable for sensitive horses. The rings are also made of rust-resistant stainless steel, giving the bit an elegant appearance. The Esposita snaffle bit is available in sizes from 8.0 cm for miniature Shetland ponies to 19.5 cm for large draft horses. The diameter is matched to the bit size: pony bits up to 10.5 cm are 10 mm thick, while larger sizes are 16 mm thick. This allows the bit to fit comfortably in every horse's mouth without being disproportionately thick for small ponies.
