FISH LOVE INSECTS! Most fish naturally eat insects, which is their instinctive behavior. They are abundant and provide a nutrient-rich food source. This instinctive feeding behavior is the foundation for BUG BITES, where the larvae of the Black Soldier Fly are the main ingredient. We use a unique and sustainable process, raising our larvae on fruits and vegetables suitable for human consumption, offering some 'superfood' benefits: excellent amino acid profile, high in protein, low in carbohydrates, and easily digestible for fish. The larvae are harvested and dried after a 14-day growth cycle, then mixed with high-quality salmon protein, essential amino acids, and minerals, and extruded into nutrient-rich granules, pellets, and sticks for fish feeding.
