Storage and usage: Store in a cool, dry place. The soy flour is made from premium Demeter soybeans. After harvesting, the soybeans are cleaned and roasted before being milled into flour. Roasting neutralizes natural toxins. The beans are then carefully ground into this full-fat flour. Soy flour has a mildly nutty flavor. It is suitable as a vegan egg substitute in baked goods and for binding patties. Soybeans botanically belong to the legume family and have been cultivated in China for thousands of years. Soy products are also becoming increasingly important in a balanced diet in other regions. In addition to tofu and soy milk, products such as soy flakes and soy flour are used, particularly by people with gluten intolerance, as substitutes for grain products.
