Gazi Kashkaval is a vacuum-packed semi-hard cheese made from 100% cow's milk. Known as Kaar peyniri, it is a popular cheese in the Balkans and Turkey. It has a mild, slightly spicy flavor with a pronounced savory taste rounded out by a salty note. Kashkaval is suitable as a topping for pizza and for baking casseroles. Enjoy it with bread or in salads, on its own, in cooking, fried or grilled, as Kashkaval cream or a dip, and with brek, cakes, or an Oriental-style breakfast. The cheese is naturally free from colorants, preservatives, flavor enhancers, and added flavors. It is vegetarian, gluten-free, Halal, made with microbial rennet, and matured in brine.
