Gian Marco Venturi combines the discretion of the gentleman from an old heritage with the Gothic style of Italian fashion. The character of fashion is created through the elements of the wearer who designs and produces it. Venturi's men in ties and vests, silk shirts, and shoes made from the finest leather personally reflect the image of his fashion. It is a look from which the lines you create are derived. The distinctive qualities that established Venturi among trend fashion designers are always projected toward the future. They fulfill potential consumers' desire for novelty by giving garments unpublished lines, new details, and new color combinations. All of this is a creation that becomes style. Gian Marco Venturi transferred the typical tailoring creativity of exclusive designs to industrial production, creating a perfect balance between quality and price. In business and commerce, he had a passion for fashion from a young age and also attended the textile institute in Prato. After graduating, he created his first models from denim fabric with a friend. La Lebole made him initial proposals, which he did not accept, preferring to maintain an independent direction. He then ended his collaboration with several major garment manufacturers and transferred his signature as a designer to the knitwear collections of Marcko's Alexander, the prt--porter collections for Erreuno, and Sader's leather goods. In 1979, he began his own dynamic prt--porter line, which was well received by critics and the public. His first men's collection, presented in Milan in summer 1980, was a success that encouraged him to begin a women's collection the following season as well. These beginnings contained all the important characteristics of his style: the search for unusual fine fabrics, combinations of volume, precision cutting, and refined finishing. The growth of his signature was very rapid from that point. In 1985, Gian Marco Venturi S.p.A. was established and began producing, alongside prt--porter, sportswear and underwear, men's shirts, ties, socks, leather goods, jewelry, perfume, and eyewear. In addition to three mono-brand boutiques in Japan and 12 franchise outlets, exclusive agreements were concluded with "Swank Shop" in Hong Kong and Taiwan and with "Man and His Woman" in Singapore. Gian Marco Venturi products were also distributed through more than 500 outlets in Italy and abroad. Venturi identified Rupert Everett and Charlotte Rampling with his fashion: Rupert Everett for his natural elegance and very European class, and Charlotte Rampling because she is a chic woman with pronounced femininity to which the years add a new and subtler charm. Although Milan is the city where his professional space expanded, Florence remains his city, the place to which he returns. Whenever he can, he travels to Florence to care for his plants. The plants inspire his sense of color. Florence is sometimes considered a provincial city, but it is precisely in this city that new trends could emerge at least six months ahead of those in other cities. It is a small but international city. The Venturi man is 30 to 35 years old. He is fashion-conscious without being influenced by excess; for him, the quality of the fabric and tailoring are crucial, while functionality is not neglected. The Venturi woman prefers a look with clear lines that moves forward without ever being distracted by anything superfluous, and is therefore simply elegant and refined. The style developed by Venturi, in both clothing and accessories, is characterized by constant evolution and development, always free from unnecessary embellishments that can mark fashion in its changes. Venturi's favorite colors are the pure colors above all: white, black, and red. The world of Gian Marco Venturi has grown and spread, establishing itself for more than 30 years with a style that is always current and successful. Today, Gian Marco Venturi focuses on classic and casual clothing, accessories, eyewear, shoes, leather goods, pajamas, underwear, swimwear, home textiles, and perfumes.
