• Xinyang Maojian is a traditional Chinese green tea from Xinyang in Henan Province. Mao refers to the fine hairs on the young leaves, while Jian describes the slender, pointed shape of the buds.
• This tea has a fresh, mild flavor and a delicate texture. The leaves are whole and have the characteristic fine hairs.
• For preparation, heat water to 70C and preheat the teapot and cups. Use approximately 2 g of tea leaves per 200 ml of water and steep for 3 minutes, then pour out completely.
• The tea leaves can be infused at least three times, with a consistent aroma each time.
• Protect from moisture and foreign odors. Store in a cool place, ideally in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
