A good, consistent CO2 supply is important for the healthy growth of aquatic plants. A CO2 system adds CO2 to the aquarium in a controlled manner to establish an optimal balance for plant growth and aquarium inhabitants. This complete CO2 system is described as a professional system with a night shutoff and check valve. It includes a high-quality 500 g carbon dioxide cylinder, filled and ready for use with food-grade CO2. The cylinder can be refilled at any CO2 filling station and is fitted with the required transport protection collar (cage). The Basic M1 CO2 regulator with one pressure gauge and a precision needle valve provides a simple way to connect a refillable CO2 cylinder to an aquarium. Its working pressure is fixed at approximately 2 bar and cannot be adjusted. The regulator has a connection for 4/6 mm CO2 tubing. The precision needle valve allows the CO2 quantity to be adjusted accurately. The pressure gauge indicates the cylinder pressure and helps estimate when the cylinder needs to be refilled. The glass CO2 diffuser dissolves up to 98% of the CO2 passing through it in the aquarium water, distributing small CO2 bubbles throughout the tank.
