The tapes are gentle on natural hair and can be applied quickly and easily, then removed just as quickly. The wefts are applied using the sandwich method: two wefts with a strand of natural hair between them form one sandwich. Clean your natural hair thoroughly with a deep-cleansing shampoo to remove residue from care and styling products. Otherwise, the wefts may not hold properly. The adhesive strip of the tape-in extensions must be replaced after 812 weeks. For a complete hair extension, you need approximately 4060 2.5 g tape wefts, corresponding to 100150 g of hair. For added volume, you need only half that amount. Care and styling: The extensions are made from non-growing hair, so choosing the right care products is important. A range of special extension care products is available, such as shampoo, oil, treatments, and conditioning sprays. You can straighten, curl, and style the extensions like your natural hair. However, excessive heat can damage the extensions just as it can your natural hair.
