This aromatic herb oil with basil, rosemary, and oregano is ideal for Italian cuisine and many Mediterranean dishes. Its base consists of extra virgin olive oil and cold-pressed rapeseed oil. It is flavored exclusively with natural essential oils of basil, rosemary, and oregano. This flavorful oil has the finesse sought in ambitious cooking. Very high heat should be avoided. Extra virgin olive oilthe highest grade of olive oiland cold-pressed rapeseed oil from locally grown rapeseed form the basis of this oil specialty. It has a bright green-gold color and a fresh, fruity, characteristic olive aroma seasoned with fresh herb extracts. Olive oils are sensitive to light and are therefore best stored in dark bottles. Once opened, the oil should be stored in a cool place. At temperatures below 6C, olive oil may become cloudy and solidify; this does not indicate any loss of quality. It will quickly become clear again when warmed to room temperature and shaken. Because of its distinctive aroma, seasoned oil is especially suitable for salads, but it can also be used for cooking and frying at temperatures up to 180C.
