Knorr Peperonata is an authentic Italian bell pepper specialty that is ready to use in a wide variety of dishes. This Italian sauce can be served on its own as a vegetable appetizer, used as a pasta sauce, served as a side dish, or used as a base sauce for various preparations. The chunky bell pepper sauce contains fine pieces of red and yellow bell pepper as well as Italian tomatoes from 100% sustainably grown sources. It can be served cold or heated and may be used as is or customized with additional ingredients. Peperonata is suitable as a cold vegetable appetizer, in salads, as a garnish or side dish with roasts, other meat dishes, or lamb, and in stews. It also pairs well with pasta, egg dishes, and pizza preparations. The recipe is vegan and contains no additives or allergens requiring declaration, and no added monosodium glutamate (MSG) according to the recipe. Technologically unavoidable traces cannot be excluded.
