You can obtain herbs as part of a species-appropriate diet from us. Since the types of herbs consumed in the wild vary by season and region and are constantly changing, we recommend feeding a suitable herb mixture for a limited period. Feeding recommendation You can feed Enjoy Aging continuously for 4 to 8 weeks. A 500 g quantity lasts approximately one week for a warmblood and two weeks for a pony. Gradual introduction Horses that are not yet accustomed to herbs should be introduced to them carefully. Since horses are creatures of habit, they can generally be accustomed to any new feed. Start with a three-finger pinch of the herb mixture mixed into a larger quantity of tasty basic feed or concentrated feed. Whenever your horse accepts this amount, slowly increase it until you reach the desired daily portion. You can then also prepare the herbs as an infusion. For this, place the daily portion of herbs in an empty jam jar, pour boiling water over them, allow to cool, and then mix into the feed. Please observe the current doping regulations and, as a precaution, discontinue all herbs one week before the start of a competition. *Not intended for food-producing animals.
