Product description Our "Schtze Dich" is a complementary feed for horses*, made from very high-quality herbs to support the body's natural defenses and immune system. It is free from any additives. "May you always be safe and protected, my beloved horse! May your defenses be as impregnable as a fortress, and may your protective shield keep away anything that could harm you." Additional feeding: You can also feed black cumin. Herbs as part of a species-appropriate diet: In the wild, horses eat low-energy, high-fiber grasses and herbs. Grass can be provided to horses as hay. We offer herbs as part of a species-appropriate diet. Since the types of herbs consumed in the wild vary according to the season and region and are constantly changing, we recommend feeding an appropriate selection of herbs for a limited period. Feeding recommendation: Feed "Schtze Dich" for a maximum of 8 weeks. One 500 g package lasts approximately one week for a warmblood and two weeks for a pony. Gradual introduction: Horses that are not yet accustomed to herbs should be introduced to them carefully. Since horses are creatures of habit, they can generally be accustomed to any new feed. Start with a three-finger pinch of the herb mixture, mixed into a larger amount of palatable basic feed (concentrate feed). Whenever your horse accepts this amount, gradually increase it until you reach the desired daily portion. Please observe the current anti-doping regulations and, as a precaution, discontinue all herbs one week before the start of a competition. *Not intended for food-producing animals.
