The reusable Lifemed cold and hot compress with gel filling flexibly conforms to the contours of the body. As a medical device, it is suitable for a variety of applications. As a cold compress, it reduces swelling and relieves pain, including with bruises, sprains, swelling, hematomas, insect bites, and toothache. As a hot compress, it is soothing and pain-relieving, including for back pain, tension, muscle soreness, wear-related complaints, and non-inflammatory rheumatic complaints. Directions: For cold use, place the compress in the freezer for approximately 2 hours. For hot use, place the compress in a hot water bath for approximately 4 minutes. Alternatively, fill a microwave-safe container with enough water to completely cover the compress. Heat the compress in the container in the microwave for approximately 1 minute. Important information: For external use only. Always place a cloth between the compress and the skin. Do not use for longer than 20 minutes at a time. Wait 30 minutes between applications. People with heart, circulatory, or diabetic conditions should always consult a doctor. Do not use a damaged compress. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist.
