The two-story hutch can be systematically connected and combined. Rabbits, guinea pigs and other rodents have a spacious home with two levels and plenty of room to move. A sturdy integrated ramp allows the animals to move easily between the lower and upper levels. All hutch doors can be opened and securely locked. The Balu enclosure is the base model of the modular hutch system. The side-opening doors allow two Balu hutches to be connected using a separately available nanook connector module. This significantly expands the animals' living space with little effort. The two areas can also be separated again using lockable doors. For additional exercise space, the separately available outdoor enclosure can be connected to the left or right side of the hutch. Two hutches can also be connected in the center instead of using the connector module.
