- VERIFIED POTENCY, NOT SELF-DECLARED: Each batch is independently laboratory-tested. MGO 829+ contains at least 829 mg of methylglyoxal per kg of honey, the minimum value stated on the label.
- New Zealand Honey Co. is UMF-licensed (No. 2060) and subject to random checks by the association.
- WHAT UMF 20+ MEANS: MGO (methylglyoxal) determines the grade of Manuka honeythe higher the number, the more concentrated it is. Dense, velvety, almost fondant-like honey with herbal flavor, caramel notes, and a clean finish.
- Genuine monofloral Manuka honey, not flavored standard honey.
- NEW ZEALAND ORIGIN, TRACEABLE TO THE HIVE: Harvesting, bottling, and testing take place entirely in New Zealand. The bees collect nectar from Manuka flowers around Lake Wanaka on the South Island, which bloom for only a few weeks each year.
