Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Brown millet is naturally gluten-free. To ensure that the gluten content of this gluten-free whole-grain brown millet flour remains below 20 ppm (20 mg/kg), it is carefully kept separate from all gluten-containing products and analyzed several times. Spielberger Mhle uses strictly separated product flows and separate production lines. The products leave the facility only after the final analysis has confirmed that they are gluten-free. The gluten-free products use sustainable packaging made from 100% paper. Because the bag is made entirely of paper, it can be disposed of with waste paper. Brown millet is considered a particularly valuable grain. Its reddish-brown outer husk is not removed, unlike that of golden millet products, so the components of the husk and the whole grain are retained. Only a few tablespoons daily are sufficient to provide valuable vitamins and minerals. Whole-grain brown millet flour can be added to other flours or used to enrich muesli, salads, or vegetable dishes. Brown millet flour has a tart, slightly nutty flavor and is suitable for mixing into bread, cake, or muesli recipes. Use in small quantities, as it does not provide leavening power in baking. Ideal for nutrient enrichment in a gluten-free diet. Not tested for: crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soy, milk, lactose, tree nuts, almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pecans, Brazil nuts, pistachios, macadamia nuts, celery, mustard, sesame, sulfites, lupin, and mollusks.
