Paladin Winery was founded in 1962 by Valentino Paladin and is now managed by his children Carlo, Lucia, and Roberto. Paladin is considered one of the leading wineries in the Venetian region. The family's more than 90 hectares of vineyards extend between eastern Veneto and Friuli in Italy. The winery's vineyards are divided between two areas: in Annone Veneto, Paladin grows the red Malbech grape as well as the white varieties Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Verduzzo. In Lison di Portogruaro, the calcareous and clay-rich soils are primarily planted with Tocai Juti, Refosco Roggio dei Roveri, Merlot Campo Camino, and Cabernet. The wines are produced using environmentally conscious cultivation methods and are carefully processed into sparkling wines and still wines that have received awards nationally and internationally.
