GelEspessa contains xanthan and can be used as a thickening agent for sauces, coulis, or soups. It can also be used as a stabilizer for sorbets. The foods or liquids to be bound should contain at least 80% water. Fruits with a higher acid content gel less strongly. GelEspessa can be whipped into the liquid, cold or warm, until the mixture thickens. Ingredients: maltodextrin, xanthan gum E415. Dosage: 615 g/kg. Whip the product until the mixture thickens. Mix with a cold or warm mixture. Store in a cool, dry place. Made in Spain. Nutritional values per 100 g / 100 ml: Energy: 312 kcal / 1308 kJ; fat: 0 g, of which saturates: 0 g; carbohydrates: 67 g, of which sugars: 0 g; protein: 2.3 g; salt: 2.4 g. Ingredients: Maltodextrin, thickener: xanthan gum (E415). Directions for use: Stir the product until the mixture thickens, using a cold or warm mixture. Store in a cool, dry place. Dosage: 615 g/kg.
