The MAX Control is a double-jointed bit that, at first glance, is indistinguishable from conventional double-jointed mouthpieces. However, it is a correction and training bit that locks at a certain angle and acts similarly to a straight bar. In practice, this effect begins very gently, as the bit conforms well to the tongue and lower jaw during normal contact. Only with stronger rein pressure does the more intense and effective action begin, as the mouthpiece becomes a straight bar. Bit thickness: 16 mm for a width of 12.5 cm; ring diameter: 70 mm.
