Bolbitis heudelotii is an attractive fern for aquariums and is well suited as an epiphyte on driftwood or rocks. It can be attached with thread or fishing line, or glued in place; over time, it will attach itself. In an aquarium, the Congo fern grows to 1540 cm and can be kept in both smaller and larger aquariums. Additional CO2 is not required, and its nutrient requirements are very low. Growth can naturally be accelerated by adding CO2 and fertilizer. Due to its low requirements, Bolbitis heudelotii is suitable for beginners and is considered a very hardy aquarium plant. It was grown in vitro under laboratory conditions at a German aquaculture facility and is therefore guaranteed to be free from pests, algae, unwanted organisms, and pesticides. Because the plants cannot be secured inside the container, they may shift or rotate during transport. Simply rinse off the nutrient solution before placing the in vitro aquatic plant in the aquarium. No soaking is required.
