  • STORY: For five generations, the Steitz family has lived in Badenheim in western Rheinhessen and cultivates excellent wines on approximately 15 hectares across a variety of soils in the Rheinhessen and Nahe growing regions.
  • The family's conscientious vineyard work focuses on sustainability and the exceptional quality of its products.
  • VINIFICATION: The Sptburgunder and Portugieser parcels are located in the Nahe growing region on sandy gravel soils with a high quartz content.
  • The grapes are harvested at perfect ripeness, then gently processed and pressed after a short maceration.
  • Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at strictly controlled temperatures.
  • The young wine rests on its lees until the new year to develop stability and balance.
